Clinical support services refer to routine health maintenance tasks, such as administering medications, monitoring blood sugar levels, and taking residents to doctor appointments, to help our residents stay happy and healthy.
It’s important to note that our retirement community is mostly catered towards older adults who have low- to mid-level care requirements. For instance, our team is not equipped to offer skilled nursing care for advanced medical conditions. Our clinical support options are designed to help residents maintain their well-being by providing:
- Transportation to professional appointments Monday through Friday
- Accompaniment to doctor’s visits when family members can’t be there
- Accurate medication management and administration services
- Diabetic care and blood sugar monitoring
- Assistance with support hose
- Blood pressure and weight monitoring as prescribed by a physician
- On-site blood draws for blood thinner maintenance or other medical conditions
- On-site administration of B12 injections
- On-site flu vaccinations
- On-site podiatry services
If your loved one requires more consistent or around-the-clock medical care, we may recommend a skilled nursing facility for them instead. Our goal is to ensure each senior gets the specialized care and attention they deserve, and we will be honest if we don’t believe someone would be a good fit for our retirement community.
